Kick off the season at Hunts Sailing Club, combined with the Classic & Vintage Racing Dinghy Association (CVRDA) rally, bringing SigneTs together with classic dinghies for a full weekend of racing. The club offers good launch areas and on-site camping, with supermarkets, shops, takeaways, and restaurants all within walking distance for visiting sailors.

Broadstairs Sailing Club hosts our second open event combined with their 90th Anniversary Open Meeting, held in tidal coastal waters off Viking Bay. The club provides a well-appointed clubhouse, launch facilities, and race support boats. The tidal waters offer varied and engaging racing conditions, making Broadstairs a reliable and enjoyable venue for visiting sailors.

Roadford Lake, one of the largest inland waters in the South West, offers expansive sailing conditions and excellent facilities for dinghy racing. The SigneT Open is combined with the CVRDA Rally, bringing classic dinghies alongside the fleet. With on-site camping available via advance booking through the Activities and Camping Centre, it is an ideal weekend to fine-tune performance and sharpen skills ahead of the National Championships, with two full days of competitive racing. Camping should be undertaken sufficiently in advance to avoid disappointment.

South Caernarvonshire Yacht Club

The SigneT National Championships take place at South Caernarvonshire Yacht Club in Abersoch, North Wales, during Abersoch Dinghy Week. The event is set on the sheltered waters of Cardigan Bay, offering excellent sailing conditions with tidal influence and scenic views of St. Tudwal's Islands. Dinghy Week provides a lively atmosphere, with a mix of different dinghy classes on the water, social events, and on-shore facilities, making it a fun and engaging week for competitors and spectators alike.
